yay. rio tinto is over! whee. i shall be bored and talk about everything done for the past few days.

kallang basin clean up- haha. so many people complaining about it. actually, yeah. the place was kind of dirty and really muddy. i doubt anyone has cleared it for a long time, since large amounts of barnacles and other shellfish are actually growing on the plastic. quite alot of the plastic was also buried in the mud. T_T. sheesh. kallang was closed 2 years ago. what have they been doing? hmm. maybe cleaning the water... then again, its not as bad as its exaggerated out to be i suppose. 2 years ago, before anyone even bothered to clean this "shitty" place up, i swam and kayaked in that water that everyone says is full of shit. it is full of SHIT, but considering that i spent 2-3 whole days swimming and kayaking in shit water, and i am still healthy and alive today, it cant be that bad right? maybe i was just happy that day cos the kayaking course was really fun. i hope that kallang basin would reopen soon. changi is rough. anyways, I'm wondering how kallang is going to be converted into a reservoir, considering that during the kayaking course we were told to be careful of big scary ships(i think) when venturing out further, which is about near the opposite from where we assembled for cleanup. im not looking forward to these humongus machines sailing in our reservoir. so much for clean water then...

east coast park- building sand castles was fun. however, most of the time was spent trying to hold the tide from destroying our castle. really. i think the "wall" was seriously more impressive than the actual sand castle itself. the sand castle looked like a grave, since Klye apparently found a fake flower and placed it there. ( i think those flowers are meant for people who drowned in the sea. maybe a dead body would be washed up next. T_T. ok random.) after that, mr tang was really nice and treated us all to Macs. however, part of the class disapperaed so it was not a real class lunch. after that, i went home with serene, desmond and shaun. bus 16 was really irritating and went along this irritating route that went in one big loop before going on to another place. felt like killing the bus driver since i needed to reach bishan at 4.30 for my piano lesson. the bus wasted 45 minutes circling joo chiat, the national stadium and kallang, plus many other places which i dunno. but i still made it to class only 5 minutes late anyway.

finally, i had rio tinto today, which was rather okay. went back to Ai Tong to talk about sch. whee. maybe its just me, but i felt it was like giving propoganda to the students there. nothing much happened. honestly.

ok done!
